Happy New Year!

By becky On January 2nd, 2011

The year of the ferrets is finally over. Each month a new cutsie photo of a pair of ferrets in a different vacation spot; January, February, March…it seemed endless. John and Sam didn’t like it either. They wondered where the cat calendar was too. And why oh why did Mom pick ferrets??

Well, I’m happy to report, a new year has come and the cat calendar is back. It’s going to be a good year.

Looking cute on a Sunday morning.

Hell no, we won’t go!

Sheet washing day is always a challenge for Mom and Dad. We don’t go easily when it’s time to take the sheets off the bed to be washed and we certainly don’t make it easy to put them back on!

4 days ’til turkey!

Who doesn’t love a turkey dinner? White meat, dark meat – I like the innards the best.

Meet Dennis

This my brother Dennis.

Just kidding, he’s not even a cat. But doesn’t he kind of look like me?

We Are Not Amused

By becky On July 27th, 2010

Isn’t that what I look like in this photo? I think I’ve perfected the “we are not amused” look. I saw a lot of pictures of Queen Elizabeth to get this right and now I just need to figure out how to handle the little hand-twirl-wave thing and I can take over England. And then the world.

It’s July?

By becky On July 23rd, 2010

Boy, my humans are right. I am lazy! The summer is just passing me by. I haven’t even read any good books yet. I was checking out some videos on YouTube the other night and found one I really liked. I’m not usually a dog cat, this guy was an exception. See for yourself. Let’s see, what else have I been doing . . . we get a lot of birds by our windows. There’s 2 feeders in our back yard and I think we get all of the birds in the neighborhood. There’s a pair of purple finches that are nesting in a hanging plant on our back porch and there are 3 baby birds to watch. It’s pretty exciting stuff. We also have a couple of chipmunks that will come right up by the sliding glass door. I think they do it to taunt Rowdy. I don’t think I’ve introduced Rowdy. He’s my youngest brother. A friend of the humans (okay, I like him too) found him in the men’s room at McDonald’s. Someone had thrown him in the trash. Can you imagine? Look how cute:

My First Post!

By becky On May 10th, 2010

This is my first post ever. I added another photo. See how very cute I can be? I use my cuteness to get things I want or so my humans won’t be mad at me when I do something naughty. I can be naughty alot. I really like pushing things off of counters, tables, bookcases – whatever gets in my way or if I just need a little attention. Or if I’m a little upset with one of my humans and need to teach them a lesson. I’m almost as strong as I am cute. I’m able to push lots of stuff. Shoving something that breaks is my favorite. The sound of shattered glass can really make the humans move! There’s a lot of fuss and they try and be mad at me. I just flash my somewhat crossed blue eyes at them and they melt. Like I’m doing in this picture. I just pushed a water glass off the bathroom vanity. Mom started to be mad, but then I shot her this look and just like that – she was all over me hugging and kissing and making sure I was ok. As Bugs Bunny would say, “Ain’t I a stinker?”
